- Cookie tray of chocolate pudding, shaving cream, salt or colored sand

Use silly surfaces to practice writing letters or words!
Cover part of your bathtub tile with shaving cream, and mold different letters with the foam.
Practice writing letters in the sand on the beach or in the sandbox.
Cover the bottom of a cookie sheet or baking dish with chocolate pudding, salt or colored sand, and use your fingers to write letters in the dish.
