Do the ABC hop
Drop and hop your way to perfect letter recognition.
Write each letter of the alphabet on a paper plate or index card and have fun with the following activities:
Alphabet drops: Arrange the letters on the floor (in alphabetical order, spelling out your child's name or even randomly) and have your child walk, hop or run from letter to letter as you call it out.
Letter hide-and-seek: Hide letters throughout the room and have your child call out the letters she finds.
Letter worm: Make a letter worm or path from a set of alphabet drops.
